Fig Love Apple Tart

  • 1/2 jar Happy the Golden Jam Fig Marmalade
  • 1 pie crust Store-bought or home-made works great
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup almond powder
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 3-4 red delicious apples


  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Roll pie dough crust into a pastry pan.
  • Pour 1/2 jar of Happy the Golden Jam Fig Marmalade on top of the pie crust.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the butter and sugar. Cream together with a spatula.
  • To this mixture, add the eggs, fully mixing one in at a time until fully incorporated.
  • Add the almond flour and all purpose flour.
  • Pour this mixture on top of the fig love marmalade in the pastry pan.
  • Slice 3 or 4 red delicious apples and arrange the slices on top of the mixtures, starting along the outer edge and working your way to the center.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Et voila!
